What is CIASTD?
Founded in 1944, the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) is the world's premier professional association and leading resource on workplace learning and performance issues. The Central Indiana chapter (CIASTD) meets monthly with valuable programs geared to individuals in the field of education and training who would like to enhance their professional skills.

Our dues are only $50 annually. By joining more than 400 training, performance improvement, human resource development professionals, you receive the following benefits:

• Membership Directory published online monthy listing members alphabetically with their titles, organizations, addresses, and phone numbers. Names are cross-referenced by areas of expertise and company names. Members can also update their own information. If you would like to update your information, click here.
• Newsletter published online with articles on current training or performance improvement topics, Chapter meetings, features from the President, and advertising support.
• Monthly Programs provide the opportunity to learn about topics targeted to the interests of members and guests along with networking.
• Special Interest Groups formed to meet specific needs of members sharing common interests.
• Consultant and Resource Database tracks names of members who are self-employed contractors/consultants including their various areas of expertise. Members can be included on the database for a fee.
• CIASTD Web Site providing online access of membership, programs, consultants, the board, and committees. You can also register for programs securely online.
